Dar El Hana is available for rent as a Bed and Breakfast Guesthouse, or
in its entirety. The name means House of "serenity, peace and
tranquility".
The word 'Dar' denotes a traditional house with a central courtyard
and
Halka which is an opening to the sky, and salons off the courtyard or patio.
The rooms are essentially on two levels, topped by a magnificent furnished
terrace with views of the medina and surrounding mountains.
Almost 300 years old, the house has been lovingly restored to its former glory.
Little has changed structurally, except for
the addition of modern comforts such as air-conditioning, good lighting, a fully equipped kitchen and western bathrooms.
Dar El Hana gives you a
choice of three types of rooms, the Jacaranda Suite, the
Hibiscus Room and the
